1. Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to Online Quran Ilm Academy. These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and Fee & Refund Policy, constitute a legally binding agreement between you (student, parent, or legal guardian) and Online Quran Ilm Academy regarding your access to and use of our live 1-on-1 virtual classes, digital Quran reader tools, and administrative channels.
By enrolling in a free trial, registering for regular classes, or making a tuition payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to adhere to these terms. For minor students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian accepts these terms on their behalf.
2. Class Schedule & Attendance Policy
Classes are conducted according to the specific time slots and days agreed upon during registration. Because our tutors reserve dedicated time slots for enrolled students, punctuality is essential.
- Class Duration: Standard live sessions run for 30 minutes unless a custom duration (e.g., 45 or 60 minutes) has been explicitly agreed upon.
- Student Punctuality: Tutors will remain in the virtual room for 15 minutes past the start time. If the student joins late within these 15 minutes, the class will still conclude at its scheduled end time. Time lost due to student delay cannot be extended or refunded.
- Unexcused Absence: If a student fails to attend a class without prior notice, the session will be marked as "Unexcused Absence" and cannot be made up or refunded.
- Ramadan & Special Schedules: During Ramadan, class timings may be temporarily adjusted to accommodate prayer, Iftar, or Suhoor times upon mutual agreement.
3. Absence Notice & Make-Up Sessions
We understand that illness, exams, or family emergencies may arise. Eligible missed sessions can be rescheduled under the following conditions:
- Advance Notice: Parents/students must notify the Admin Team at least two (2) hours prior to the scheduled class time.
- Monthly Limit: Make-up class requests are permitted up to a maximum of 2 sessions per billing month.
- Validity: All eligible make-up sessions must be completed within 30 days of the missed class. Make-up credits expire after 30 days.
- Tutor-Side Absence: If a class is missed due to a technical glitch, power outage, or emergency on our end, a 100% guaranteed make-up session will be arranged at your convenience or a credit applied to your next invoice.

5. Billing & Payment Terms
Tuition fees are billed monthly in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Payments must be processed through our authorized payment channels (PayPal, Credit/Debit Card, Wise, or Bank Transfer).
If payment is overdue by more than seven (7) days without prior arrangement with the Admin Team, the academy reserves the right to temporarily pause sessions and release the reserved time slot.
6. General Legal Disclaimer
Educational Outcomes: While Online Quran Ilm Academy employs certified tutors and structured Tajweed/Hifz methodologies, student progress depends on individual practice, consistency, and attendance. We do not guarantee fixed completion timelines.
Technical Service Disclaimers: We strive to maintain uninterrupted online services. However, Online Quran Ilm Academy is not liable for temporary service interruptions caused by global internet outages, third-party software updates (Zoom/Skype), or ISP failures beyond our reasonable control.
Intellectual Property: All original website content, graphics, logos, and custom course structures are the intellectual property of Online Quran Ilm Academy. Unauthorized duplication or distribution is prohibited.
7. Policy Modifications & Inquiries
Online Quran Ilm Academy reserves the right to update these Terms of Service periodically. Updated versions will be published on this page. Continued participation in classes following updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
